The Breast Cancer Health Equity Task Force (BCHETF) and Community Advisory Board for Project BRA, facilitated by the Masonic Cancer Alliance, the outreach network for The University of Kansas Cancer Center, involves a broad spectrum of health care professionals with an important focus: increase breast cancer screening and care for underserved women in the metro Kansas City and Wichita areas.
Friend to Friend events are evidenced-based programs designed to empower women to get regular mammograms for the early detection of breast cancer when it is most curable.
